Community Free Free Fair
Take anything you need for free!
Free Fair
Date: Saturday, August 16th
Time: 12-4pm
Location: Queen Square, Sainmt John
RAIN DATE: August 23rd
This event builds off our previous Free Stores and focuses more on offering free services: from community members to community members! This is mutual aid in action: a network of care and generosity to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors.
This event will feature many services: counselors, health care providers, barbers, repair (clothing, kitchen appliances, and electronics), nail care, tax services, and more! We will have food, live music, art, games, and other community organizations present to showcase the services that are available across our community.
To volunteer (general fair volunteer or if you have a service to offer), please fill out this form.
We are collecting donations of non-perishable food items, personal care items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, etc.), and other consumable goods (toilet paper, cleaning products). You can drop off these items at the City Market (bin located near the Charlotte St. entrance) or Haven Music Hall (201 Union Street) during business hours.

Solidarity, Not Charity
The Community Free Store serves as a model for operating a more ethical society. It is based on the principles of Mutual Aid: where people cooperate to serve fellow community members. Mutual aid creates networks of care and generosity to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors.
The Community Free Store has no strings attached: everyone is welcome, there are no limitations on items people can take, and there are no requirements to participate! We will not ask you for personal information. We welcome anyone who wants to contribute to future events.
